The matches will be decided by a point system. A win is worth 2 points, plus tenths accumulated based upon margin of victory. For example, winning all 18 holes yields a winning total of 3.0 (the maximum), a 1 up victory yields 2.1, a 2 up victory would earn 2.2, and so on. Even after a match is resolved (4 &3, 3&2, etc.), points accumulate or diminish through the eighteenth hole. This accumulation of tenths essentially resolves any overall ties that may occur Ò that is, a team winning 5&4 might lose the last four holes and only earn 2.1 points; a halved match earns each team a score of 1.0 points. Total team points at the end of the weekend are the match champions.
