The men's club 'Ringers' tournament –
The entry fee for this season long (April 6, 2013 thru November 3, 2013) event is $10 dollars, with the chance of winning over $100. Prizes
for this event are paid in cash, not pro shop credit. Last year we paid out over $1500 to the top 12 places on both the gross and net side. Questions? Contact tournament chair, Jared Albert.
How do I play?Just by turning in your tournament scores each week, we continue to update your best score on each hole throughout the season. Birdie number one this week and your best previous score was a par, we replace the par with your bird. The challenge is to birdie each hole during the season. Throw in an eagle or an ace and your name could be at the top of the list come year end.
Payouts at the end of the season will be both Gross and Net. Handicaps are based on the handicap at the time of your round.
See the starter on the first tee to sign up for the Ringers event. The Ringers will start on April 6, 2013 so you still have time to get entered and maximum your chances. Regardless of when you enter your scores will start counting as of your paid entry date (assuming itís on 4/6 or later).
Donít wait to enter! Iíve heard plenty of stories about eagles and birdies made the day before someone entered. You might only hole out from 165 yards on #7 or drop a bomb for eagle on #16 only one time this season. Make sure youíre in the Ringers when it happens!
And donít let your handicap get in your way from entering. Low handicappers donít stand a chance on the net side and in the last two years there has been at least one person who won on both the Gross and Net side. Put your ten dollars in today and start shooting that sub-par round of your dreams.
