Tip: A good warm-up hole for the course. Hitting your tee shot up the right center of the fairway will leave a fairly short approach into a well-protected green. The safe play is up the left side of the fairway. The only real danger from the tee is to the right side of the fairway. The green is protected on the front and both sides by bunkers.
Local rule: Run-off ditch between holes 1 and 9.
If the condition interferes with the player's lie, stance or intended area of his swing, relief may be taken without penalty as follows:
Relief: Lift and drop within one club-length of and not nearer the hole than the nearest point of relief on a part of the course which avoids interference by the condition.
